You Matter: Suicide Prevention Awareness Event
Description
You Matter: Suicide Prevention & Awareness
๐ September 14 | ๐ 9:00 AMโ12:00 PM | ๐ Bridge Entrance
Join us on September 14 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bridge Entrance as we come together to raise awareness, foster connection, and remind one another that no one has to face life's challenges alone.
Stop by our table to participate in a meaningful awareness activity by choosing a colored bead that represents your personal connection to suicide prevention. Whether you're honoring someone you've lost, supporting a loved one, celebrating your own journey, or standing in solidarity with the cause, every bead tells a storyโand together, they create a powerful reminder that we're stronger when we support one another.
You'll also have the opportunity to learn about suicide prevention, discover campus and community mental health resources, and find ways to support yourself and others. Together, we can help break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage conversations that remind everyone of one simple truth:
You matter.
If you or someone you know is struggling, you are not alone. Help is available.
We are proud to partner with the Suicide Prevention Alliance of Washington County, who will be present to offer resources, information, and support. Together, we can make a difference and create a community of hope and resilience.
We hope you'll join us at the Bridge Entrance on September 14th from 9:00 AMโ12:00 PM for this meaningful event. Every conversation, every connection, and every act of support helps create a campus community where everyone knows they matter.
