If this is your first year taking CCP classes at Washington State or online, this event is for you! During orientation, you'll:

Learn more about the resources available to help you succeed & how to get the most out of your CCP experience
Receive your Washington State student ID card (required to get into our academic buildings)
Have the opportunity to locate your classrooms

Can my parent or guardian come to this event, too?

Absolutely! We always encourage parents, guardians, or other trusted adults to attend with new students.

Will I be able to register for classes at this event?

Orientation is best suited for students who have already registered for classes. If you need to schedule an Early College Advising Appointment, use this link to find your advisor: https://apps.wscc.edu/advisorsearch/

I've already taken CCP classes at my high school or online. Should I come to this event if this will be my first time taking classes at Washington State?

Yes! The on-campus experience is different than online or at your high school. You should absolutely plan to attend so that you can get the most out of your CCP experience.

Where should we park?

Signs will direct you to the appropriate parking lot.

How long does orientation last? Do I have to stay the whole time?

Orientation typically takes a couple of hours, but we promise the time will pass very quickly! Remember-- we're trying to prepare you and give you the tools & resources you need to be successful from your first day and beyond. Paying attention, asking questions, and engaging in this process is important.

Orientation is a structured event, so staying for the whole time is important.
